The 1746-IV32 is a SLC 500 Digital DC Input Module. This Digital DC Input Module has a Voltage Range of 15-30 Volts DC Source and 32 Inputs. It is intended for General Purpose DC Inputs Applications.

About 1746-IV32

The 1746-IV32 SLC 500 32 Channel Digital Input Module by is a 24V DC current sourcing input module with 32 inputs and 8 points per fused common that is fixed in any slot of the SLC 500 chassis. It has an operating voltage range between 15 and 30V DC at 50 °C and a range of 15 and 26.4V DC at 60 °C and it has a backplane draw current of 0.05A at 5V DC. The 1746-IV32 has a non-replaceable electronically-fused common with the fuse rated at 2.5A and it provides a 60s 1500V AC-tested isolation from the backplane.
The signal delay on the input points has a maximum delay time of 3ms for both the ON and OFF states and the module has a maximum OFF-state current of 1.5mA. It also has a minimum ON-state voltage of 15V DC and a maximum OFF-state voltage of 5V DC. It has a nominal input current of 5.1mA per point and the maximum heat dissipation on each point is 0.2W with an aggregate of 6.65W for the whole module. The 1746-IV32 is CE, CSA, and UL-certified and it provides NEMA standard ICS 2-230 Noise immunity. It is designed and tested to withstand a working vibration of 2.5G at 57-200Hz with a tested peak displacement of 0.015 inches and maintains an optimal function even with an operational shock of 30G. It has a working temperature between 0 and 60 °C at a relative humidity range of 5-95%.
