How are chenille patches made?

Chenille is a fabric made with silk thread used in combination with wool or cotton and sewn in tightly woven loops to give a three dimensional look. The way we manufacture our chenille patches is by using a combination of chenille background with embroidered thread for the details.

We have the most advanced BARUDAN and Tajima embroidery machines in Japan. The minimum thread color that can run on the machine is 12 colors, while ordinary embroidery machines have only 9 colors.
