Phase-out Plan of HCFC in China
From 2013, Freeze HCFC production and consumption to the average amount of year 2009 and 2010 and
set it as a Base Amount;
By 2015, reduce 10% of the Base Amount;
By 2020, reduce 35% of the Base Amount;
By 2025, reduce 67.5% of the Base Amount;
By 2030, fully stop use of HCFCs.
Blowing Agent for producing Low Density XPS Board
In most cases, HCFCs are still the most popular Blowing Agent for China XPS Board production. However,
successful production experiences tell that some small percentage of Water together with Isobutane / LPG
/ DME or mixture of them helps to decrease density to about 26 - 30Kg/m3.
This would largely reduce productions cost and product properties are not much influenced.
